Submit Application to Region 15 for initial approval.
The Application must first be submitted to Region 15 ([email protected]), attention of the Property Committee. For more information on Region 15 oversight of and guidance on property matters, please follow the following link: https://ucceast.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Regional-Council-15-Property-Handbook-2019-10-05.pdf Upon referral to the Property Committee of Region 15, this Committee will consider the merits of the Loan Application. If the Committee is in support of the Application, it will acknowledge that the necessary approvals from the Region have been granted to do the work. If such Application is approved by Region 15, it will then be transmitted with their concurrence to the Church Extension Board for the Board’s deliberations. |

Church Extension Board review and final approval.
The Church Extension Board (the Board), while taking into account the review process by Region 15 and its recommendations, will perform its own due diligence in evaluation of the merits of the loan and the Church’s capacity to repay. This may require a direct meeting with the Applicant’s representatives to seek clarification on matters relevant to the application. Should the Loan Application be approved by the Board, the following documents must be completed by the Applicant: |
